PAMPHYLIA. Perge. Circa 170-100 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 30 mm, 16.20 g, 1 h). Laureate head of Artemis to right, with bow and quiver at her shoulder. Rev. APTEMIΔOΣ - ΠEPΓAIAΣ Artemis standing front, head to left, holding wreath in her right hand and long scepter in her left; at feet to left, forepart of a stag standing left, looking up; above stag, E. Colin Series 5, 1.2 (2.8/5.4a) = H. Seyrig: Monnaies Héllenistiques, in: RN 1963, p. 50, 20 and pl. IV, 6 = SNG von Aulock 4656 (all this coin). A bold and impressive example struck on a very broad flan and with a fine pedigree. Slightly rough and with light doubling, otherwise, good very fine.
